Each year more than three million people spend their holidays confined to institutions. Many have outlived their relatives and
friends. Others live far away from their loved ones. Life for them is often a lonely experience with few opportunities to make a difference. At the same time, many other people look for
ways to make their holidays more rewarding and meaningful, return themselves to the true spirit of the holidays.

Ways to Participate |

VISIT |
 |
|
On Christmas day, during Chanukah, and on other holidays throughout the year, volunteers visit with
people in nursing homes, hospitals and other institutions, enhancing each others’ experience of the holidays. Ask for a start-up packet today. |

|
MAKE & WRAP GIFTS |
 |
|
Before visits, volunteers join together to make and wrap gifts for those they will visit. |
|
|
|
|
PARTICIPATE AS A GROUP |
 |
|
Schools, service clubs, and social organizations are welcome to participate as groups. |
|
|
|
|
MANAGE & ORGANIZE |
 |
|
In each community, the programs of The Holiday Project are managed and administered by volunteers. |

CONTRIBUTE |
