A Program Designed to Link the Young,

old, and Everyone in between

About the Adopt-A-Home Project

for Schools and other Community Organizations

The Holiday Project Adopt-A-Home Project was designed to support those who work with adolescents either in a school environment or group organization, encouraging them to begin to volunteer at an early age. By using the easy-to-follow check-list, a busy educator, group leader or even kids, can complete all the tasks of the project.

Why You Should Participate

The project can be done once, or any number of times.

The location and schedule is entirely determined by the project leader.

There is  minimal pre-project preparation.
There is no age restrictions for participants.
There is flexibility in determining the specific  program. In addition to one-on-one visiting, groups can organize singing and craft making events and can also join events being planned by the facility.
Add-on projects can be organized so that before the visit, kids make cards, write poems and make holiday decorations.
The result is guaranteed!
